R1 engine dimensions
I know I asked before about the general size, but now it's time to get more detailed. Anyone know where I can find some semi-detailed drawings
of an R1 engine/tranny?

And I would like some detailed (accurate dimensionally including mounting points) drawings of the Hayabusa powerplant please!

hayabusa
Steve, there is a proE model of the hayabusa engine at:
hayabusa
(Don't know how accurate it is though)
I used it as a base and then modified it to somewhat represent my FJR

Steve, try asking Dennis of dpcars, I think I remember him saying he had an accurate Hayabusa drawing...

do you need the mounting points? I can go and put a square next to the motor from different angles if you like?

At this point, not really. Line drawings of the engine from the front, side, and top would be fantastic, but beggers can't be choosers,
I'll be happy with whatever is offered. Detailed dimensions aren't needed either, other then at least one dimension so I can scale it up
or down.

If one of the R1 BEC guys would be willing to supply me with a couple of critical measurements, I'll scale a side elevation drawing I have and
possibly make a crude 3D model.
Drop me an email if you can help and I'll let you know what measurements I require.
Cheers, Rorty.

Roger Kurt, Dennis it is.
I have some SWorks files that Rorty sent my way a while back for the R6 I believe. Thanks Rorty! But that's not the engine you are looking for
and at the mo I am working on an ultra-secret hush hush can't tell you about the guy that is putting twin Hayabusas in the back of a La Bala
project and he already has started... Can't say anything more... no, won't do it.
