You could try phoning Spares unlimited in Hull. I have bought from in the past (Fireblade engine, gearbox and wiring loom for £675 delivered to my
door next day). There number is 01482 320385
Very good service ,IMHO, and you get (or i did) a month guarantee

Just be very careful, there are lots of horror stories from dodgy breakers.
Get yourself onto the Yahoo Groups BEC list as there is a mass of useful help there.
Stick with blade or ZX9 if you want to keep it simple and lower cost. Blackbird needs dry sump (+£1K) and while other engines can be used, there is
more off the shelf parts and experience for these.
Go for it, you wont regret it.

I might buy from Mk but I'm on a tight budget and so I'm trying to find a cheaper setup kinda relying on the money from selling my 2.8 v6 as well as
a donation from my perants (hopefully) are blades and zx9s the same power and size? blades seem to be used more as an early observation, are they
better or just easier to get hold of??

See earlier posts on this topic, but yes, blades and ninjas are very similar in power, weight and size.
