Zetec and LPG question.

Not entirely sure this is the right place but it seemed as good as anywhere else.

Can anyone tell me is there any known problems using LPG in a zetec engine? And does anyone know do you have to have a special fuel tank for LPG? Basically what I'm getting at is could I build a fuel tank for LPG out of mild steel?

I was afraid someone was gonna say that.

Ok so apart from having to buy a tank are there any other problems to using LPG with a zetec? (apart from having to alter the timing advance etc)

I'm selling a good LPG kit and tank if you are interested - Linky..

Have run my car on LPG for a while now - Using a sequential injection kit you get next to no loss in power, 5 to 10% loss in MPG and no need to mess with timing etc. as the LPG ECU works in conjunction with the main ECU to manage the fuelling and ignition.

LPG car run amazingly clean too - I pulled the spark plugs after 15000 miles and they looked brand new.

Saved me a fortune, even after paying for the kit...
