I did a job for the bloke that owned Eurospares once. When I went to get paid he showed me 'round and there was a 355 engine there and the car
had only been launched a week earlier.
" Someone crashed one already?", I said.
" No, that's a development engine, I bought it straight off the dyno.", he said!!
Top bloke, an Italian. His son runs it now I think.

For that money you could build a proper engine, that'd be reliable; not require a degree in electronics or hugely expensive ferrari workshop
diagnostics.
