got my engine going - woohoo!
Hi guys,
Kicked over the R1 tonight. One false start - leads to he 2 coils mixed up then a racket so loud it hurt the ears & every dog in 1/2 mile radius
started barking... (yup - no silencer yet)
A big boring video here (6 megs)

I'm well impressed actually - that engine has sat in a cupboard for 2 years & first chance it got, it went like it REALLY wanted to.
Must be downhill from here...
Now I have cat, silencer, rad plumbing etc all to fix - oh yeah and the clutch to connect up - but that is one big milestone passed today!
cheers
Bob

Good feeling isn't it!

Cheers dudes - the rev counter was clearly wired wrong - that's how it powers up! (another job on the list). I was hoping to see the old tacho
tango & revs etc.
Hopefully we'll get the first drive vid in a few weeks
