Tyre/wheel size?
will a wheel with 205 40 17's fit an indy? as I have chance of a cheap set off a mate and don't want to miss out on a bargain? thanks

The answer is prob yes as i have seen some 17's fitted too indys but they will not help the handling of the car one bit, infact they will be
very detrimental too the handling, sorry if its not what you wanted too hear.

i think 17's look the db's on these type of cars i had some on my r1 indy but i now have 15's and the car deffo feels more settled
in corners but thats when giving it beans and going way to fast for public roads.
i think a lot of people dont drive there cars to a point of where it matters what size wheels they use but if you have plans on driving it hard then
get 15's or smaller

Got to agree with OX. 17" wheels do look superb IMO but 15's or smaller will definitely enhance the cars handling capabilities.......

17's for show and 15s's for go i suppose you could say.
I will be getting some 15's for the track + the tyres are cheeper.
But i do like the 17" look on the 7's personal choice as always.
