ZX9 CLUTCH CABLE

Anyone know of a clutch cable, be it a special one off or not, to fit between Sierra pedal box and ZX9 clutch arm. Or do I have to make up new operating arm on clutch arm? Avon build well on the way.

We cut the top off the of the clutch arm and rotated it about 90 degress and re-welded it, then ran a sort length of cable straight from the pedal to the arm, mounting it from a small bracket on the engine mount.

Basic attempt

finished cable

Hope this helps

I managed to do it withoug modifying the clutch arm with an off the shelf cable from S.T. I had to slightly open out the clamp that holds the cable on the cluth cover but it all fits in and works OK.
Can't say if it will work with the sierra pedal but there is a good amount of adjustment at both ends of the cable (M10 thread by 80mm) so I would think you could probably sort cobble something up, sorry... engineer a solution at the pedal end.

Cheers,
Ben
