Volvo Info...
Can someone tell me the year/model when Volvo changed over from rear drive to front drive?
Thanks,
Syd.

I had an L reg 1994 240 Torslanda, obviously RWD, I believe the 800's (fwd)came out the same year, ie also available on the L plate. Think the
old 900's (rwd)carried on a year or 2 later?

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

9 series were the last of the RWD Volvo's (not sure what year they ended though) 850's and newer are all FWD. My dad has a 2000 V70 2.4
Turbo, and it flies in a straight line, but just understeers at corners!
