Fitting TTS filter back plate
I have made my own back plate for my R1 carbs i was wondering how best to attach it to the carbs.
Here it is.
backplate1
As you can see i have cut holes in the backplate only to accomodate the part of the carb that the trumpet fits too part A.
I noticed that when the backplate is in place it blocks off the elongated holes (C). Does this matter?
backplate2
If it does do i need to cut bigger holes in my backplate to take measurement B, and bond in the rubbers from the airbox?
Would rather not faf about doing more cutting if it can be avoided.
What are my options?

Remove the screws either side of the chokes and replace screw with a longer one through your backplate.

You need to have the elongated C hole aswell, I've seen other people just drill 3 holes for each bit, 6 per carb
