Steve Mehew, (can catch him on the westie site), had SC'ed his Hayabusa powered Rush.

If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

I have fitted a rotex charger fitted to a GSXR1000 in an Avon, boosted the power upto about 210 at the engine.
Goes quite well.

The critical parts (difficult to make at home) came from TTS at silverstone.
Super charger it self and mounting bracket.
A Custom made crank pully that comes through the front of an inspection hole on the front cover of the engine.
High pressure fuel pump, filter and regulator.
Larger injectors to carry extra fuel.
Extra head gasket to lower compression.
Plenem? chamber
Blow off valve.
Remap for that engine

and a whole lot of advice....

How much has that cost to do?

Dan - mines a 954cc blade engine which in the bike is 160bhp. Im having it mapped at PDQ on the 22nd so will let you know then! Im thinking around 130 - 140bhp atw. Oh and surprisingly, you dont notice any lack of torque!
As you will see when i finally take you out!

lol

the charger im looking at will cost about £800 from the US.

i would be able to get the brackets made up okay, the only problem will be the pulley, then take it to get mapped etc, hopefully looking at under 2K.

Take a look at TTS. They supercharge a variety of bikes including Buells, 'Busas and Blades.

No one in the US appears to do a Rotrex kit for motorcycle engines but if you are just after the supercharger they can be picked up new for $2000 to $2300, that's £1000 to £1150!!! Not bad if you are happy to mount, plumb and set up the 'charger yourself. If you go for the smaller size blower and moderate boost you can get away with spacing the block from the maincases to reduce compression.

Take a look at http://www.supercharger-experience.com/dealers.php

And here is the power and torque they can squeeze out of a 'Busa. Yeeeehhhhhaaaaaawwwwwwwww!!!!!
