Just sold a car on ebay

does anyone have the wording as for what to put on the recipt.

eg I Graeme.......the seller sell this car to you the buyer with all known faults etc etc etc

Doesn't really matter since private sales are caveat emptor. Just put the reg and the price paid and sign it assuming the v5 is in your name.

Small dealers put 'sold as seen', at least they used to.

Make model and reg number plus sold as seen would be ok.

Date AND Time of Sale - means you don't get the points when he goes through a speed camera leaving your house..!

Also, get a verifiable address - purchasors driving licence is a good place to start...

Sold as seen is always a good start, and staple a copy of the ebay advert to it
