500KB/s download nice
Very nice video's Shame they aren't so long. Quality is very nice. Did you somehow edit the noise?

Thanks for the compliment. No, the noise is from the wind. I usually use a mic input and tape the mic somewhere in the cockpit. This gets the engine
noice but keeps the wind out. I forgot it that time.
When watching others' track videos, I get borded after watching a lap, so I kept it short.

Really nice quality video and sound. Out of interest what setup are you using?
Now you just need a turbo or a busa engine to take the Vipers etc on down the straights
BTW Also jealous of the weather although its nice here at the moment its getting a little chilly in the garage in the evenings

Which video did you watch? The large video is just a .mov file. The small one is a .mov file converted to Flash's .flv format. A lot of what I
do during the day is figuring out how to get huge video files onto the web. The FLV work best for that--which is why YouTube uses (an old version) it.
I actually found the sound awful, so it's iteresting you guys like it.
The video camera is just the family Sony mini DV recorder. I need to get a couple bullet cameras with a solid-state recorder.
The day was beautiful. 40 degrees F when I woke up and 70 degrees F during the event. I could not have asked for better weather!

Viewed the big files. The sound is bad, but maybe because you edited it? You didn't, but there is a lot of like alien satelite noises.

I'd stick with that camera - that quality is better than many bullet cameras I've seen.
How did you mount it?
Pat...

The camera below clamps to the rollbar. I wrapped the rollbar with electrical tape to keep it from ruining the paint.

is for a chopper tail light--maybe $3 at most (?).
