Clutch cover (r1)
I'm replacing the clutch cover on my 5jj r1 and have a couple of questions for you chaps.
Do I use gasket sealant with the gaskets on the engine?
Does the clutch release arm go back in position just touching the spring?
(stupidly forgot to check the position before I removed it
Cheers

You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

I wouldn't recommend the use of any jointing compoun unless stated by yamaha, some of the oil drilling are very small. the amount of crap
i've seen on some oil pick-up filters is unbelievable

Agreed, the gaskets are only a few quid from the Yam dealers anyway so not worth scrimping on.
Not sure on the positioning question, quite a long time since I last re-fitted my cover.
