ZX-9 Airbox breathing.

Hi,

I am using the standard ZX-9 airbox without any mods, just turned it 180 degrees.

Now i have 1 small and 1 big breather pipe on the top, what do i do with these?

And at the bottom i have the 2 big airtubes, do i have to put some airhoses on them and get them to an air-intake at the side of the car? Like on the bike?
Or is it enough to just let them open.

What's your advice?

Thanks,
Sebastian.

The breather to the exhaust needs blocking if you aren't using it, if the small one goes to the carbs I would extend the tube and put it back on. If you can get cool air into the engine by using the ram pipes it will help but it wouldn't be a problem if you ran without them as they will be on the cool side of the engine bay. You will not get ram effect from them so don't worry about that.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
