substitute temperature sender for R1

I'm using the standard R1 clocks, the engine came without the temp sender, is there a substitute sender availiable within the R1 specs ie
47.5-56.8 ohm @ 80 deg c
16.5-20.5 ohm @ 115 deg c
unfortunately i'm not prepared to pay £25 for a s/h one or £45 for a new one, common sense tells me it would be cheaper to buy a seperate clock
