is there and difference ZX12, ZX12R
as above says really is there any difference, i have ordered a swing sump from zx zone

I always get confused between ZX & ZZR derivatives..
IIRC there was a ZZR1200 which was based on the ZZR1100 but stretched to 1164cc from 1052cc.
ZZR1200
Then there was the more modern ZX12R which is a totally different engine.
I think the US also designate the ZZR1400 as a ZX14 - but there again I'm already confused.

Not quite. The sump pans for the B models are slightly different.

here is a nice sump with full 360 deg turning pickup but a bit pricey at £580  .jpg)

yeah chatted to the guy who had them made, as you said bit pricey, so have gone for one of these.
going to fit an accusump as well, all for less than half the price of a full dry sump system!

ZX12 / ZX12R the mounting holes are the same. The oil feed pipe lugs and supports are different lengths and may need material adding or removing
otherwise they will work loose and fall off.
