ZX9R Regulator/rectifier

Iam building a ZX9R Indy. How hot does the regulator/rectifier get and can I mount it behind the dash?

ideally it needs to be bolted to a metal suface to act as a heat sync and preferably in the airflow to keep it cool

Should be ok but i will keep an eye on it. If it seams to be getting too hot then i will use a pc cooling fan mounted near it.

You got any more pics for me to look at yet?

Major wiring day today. Got rid of zx9 fuse box plus half of unneeded wires. Doing a reroute now to tidy up. Will try to post some pics.
