R1 injection fuel filter question

I have looked through the R1 (04) manual and I can't find any external fuel filter other than the one in the fuel pump it self.
It would appear that the injection rail is piped straight to the pump outlet.
Do I need a seperate fuel filter aswell?
My tank is only going to be in front of my engine, so no long pipe runs.

Like you say the R1 pump has one built into the pump,so if your using it in the base of your tank ,then that will suffice,if not then you will need a high flow injection filter.
