How much to rent a garrage
A work colleague of mine owns a single garrage and wants to know what the going rate is to rent it out. It is separate from the house and is accessed
independantly of the drive / garden but has the advantage of not being in one of those havens for people up to no good.

Depends where it is in relation to railway stations etc.

I rent a double that is seperate to a terraced house at the rear for £60 a month. Leccy included.
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

It very much depends on the location.
Round my neck of the woods its very expensive to rent.
I'm paying £550 per quarter (excluding leccy bills).

I guess it is dependant on who wants it!
Your ideal punter is going to be a bloke with a real desire to build a sort of 60's looking sports car, from scratch, based on a Lotus 7, on an
un-realistic budget, who lives in a flat nearby!
That should give you three to five years guaranteed rent, or an unfinished project on ebay!

I used to rent one on a block from the council to keep my LTD in for £23 a month.
My father inlaw still has it to keep a ladder in!!
Now my garage costs me 600 a month mortgage.

Single garages within a block in Hants / West Sussex seem to be around the £40-50 a month range.
