Wasn't sure where to put this so here goes, can anyone tell me if the MK Sprint R is still available as a kit, if so some pointers re websites
and build diaries would be great. If its not available does anyone else have any suggestions on a bike engined single seater

Hi although if you widen the scope a little you soon realise that for the same money one of these can be had for very simalar money but with Much
higher quality and desighn. LINK 1
LINK 2
LINK 3 . Admittedly they are not road legal but then given they are all
designed to be used on a circuit.
Cheers Matt

Horses for courses really, isn't it ?
Yes a jedi is a more focused track car, but you can't drive it to the track.
I completely respect the decision of those who have bought sprint Rs, but i know I would like to compete with one if I were in the fortunate position
to have one.
Unfortunately, it would probably be forced into a single seater class up here, where it would be comprehensively annihilated. I'm not being
unkind or negative, just saying as I see.
As I said above though, you can't drive a Jedi to the track, so if track days without winning competitions are your thing and you want to drive
the car to the track then go for it.

Agree 100% if your looking for a single seater "competition" car then the sprint r is not it.
The "true to form" was aimed at the incessant take every opportunity to publicly knock anything MK derived by a.n.other. That's how
I see it anyways.

I priced a new jedi up in kit form, before i bought the OMS, and i reckon you could build two high spec sprint R's for the same sort of dosh.
Agree you might be able to buy a secondhand jedi for new sprint R money, but that takes out the fun of building it, and you end up with an unknown
quantity.
Horses for courses i guess.
The other downside of competition cars, is most trackdays won't let you on with open wheels.
