been offered this...

I have been offered this from someone on another forum...

what do people think and is there anything missing that i would need to build the Indy? I recall being told to get the K5 or K6 model, is the K7 any better/worse/indifferent?

I have asked the guy if the engine itself is new or how many miles have been done. The guy is based up in Wigan, any locost member live up that way who would be willing to look it over for me please?

K7 1000 engine
Includes,
Radiator,
oilcooler,
Ecu+both keys,lockset,
Downpipes,
Airbox,
Throttle bodies,
Wiring Loom+all sensors,
New clocks which i bought( 1 mile showing) for £2250

I believe the K7 has the secondary injectors in the air filter housing, so this would make for an extremely tall install

It may be possible to remove these injectors I don't know

Cheers

would it not be possible to drop the engine in at more of an angle to compensate?

any other advice? I asked about mileage and servicing and the guy said this:

The engine didnt even make it to its first service,it was booked in according to dealer who sold bike, but was crashed before it made it,all i know is mileage is more than 600 miles because hpi report i got stated it went in for stator recall and had 600 on clock when that was done and then was crashed shortly after that.
I have been up+down my road on it and thats it(Hence 1 mile on new clocks),just to make sure bike was o.k. and frame was straight, bike hasnt moved since then.
I bought it as a Cat C,removed rest of road bodykit, then bought £2k on secondhand race parts off a guy on motoforum and thats it.Thought it would be easier to sell as a racebike, boy was i wrong, so hence now i am going down the breaking it route.

I have seen his thread where he has actually tried to sell the whole racebike so atleast i know that part is truthful.
