black boxes on the busa cam cover. What do they do?
What do them black boxes on the busa cam cover with a pipe on each going to a eletronic valve do? with the engine ticking over they seem to be sucking
in and I am wondering if this has something to do with my high Lambda reading?

Sounds just like what I have on my Blade 929 Engine. It is for engine emissions. On my engine there are 2 covers (REED VALVE COVERS) with a hose
coming out of each which connects to the PAIR CONTROL SOLENOID VAVLE. Basically this is an Exhaust Emissions Control System (Secondary Air Supply
Sysytem).
I have attached a pic and the red circle will show where the box is poss situated. Yours will prob be Suzuki's own version of the same thing
If I find it I will post it
PAIR Control Blade 929

Sometimes I really love the internet
Here is the whole 645 Page K8 Hayabusa Manual in PDF Manual
See from page 190 and it will tell you all you need to know as it covers the EMISSIONS CONTROL DEVICES.
Enjoy
