Bike engine oil pumps

How good are bike engine oil pumps? My install has an oil cooler up front so has a bit of extra pipework. Is the bike pump generally up to the job?

Surely the bore of the hose is massive compared to the normal oil ways, can't really see any realistic restriction either in the hoses or the cooler, blow through them and you notice its practically nil, plus the flow rate is probably quite a bit less than a car engine anyway.

Don't see why it should be a problem I've got an oil cooler up front and the oil feed to the turbo with no problems.

Although I'm not sure about other bike engine but the R1 has very low oil pressure compared to a car engine at idle when hot anyway.

fitting my oil cooler dropped my oil temp by 30 degrees on track, so its definetly working
