Filters on an 893 Blade
Chaps (and Chapessess)
What filters have people used on the 893 blade engines..? I'm looking at it either poking through the top of the bonnet, or putting some sort of
bulge and airbox on the carbs and feeding to a cool air intake.
Its on a Tiger Cat, so any advice gratefully received
Cheers
Pete

Can you turn the standard airbox upside down and run it with that on? It's the best tool for the job if you can.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The Tiger has a very low bonnet line though so doubt the standard airbox will work. Might be worth a search for those who have made one but somehow i
think its going to be a hole in the bonnet and a sausage filter.
Do you know how much clearance you have currently between the carbs and bonnet??

I recon theres about 1/2" clearance in the bulge and the bulge is proud of the bonnet line by about 2".
Don't know with bare carbs though
