Fireblade SVA Question

I am doing the last bits on my MK Indy-Fireblade before applying for SVA test. Paul Jepson is doing the paperwork and feels that I will most likely need, which I haven't got, a "cat" for my 1995 RR-S Fireblade engine. 1. Is he right? 2. Is this something that is easily fixable? Bit concerned as money is tight

Cheers for that, how do I find out the month of manufacture as I bought it on e-bay just as an engine?

I have the engine numbers listed from my Haynes manual. One sec and I'll post a picture of it!

I think you are stuffed, unless the tester takes pity on you.
Perhaps you could get the info of the DVLA by them doing a search for the nuber on their super computer? no perhaps not!
