All sorted - the 4165 kit is for a US model 00/01 R1 with the 4164 being used for the earlier US models as well as all the European carbed R1's

Isn't "foam filter" a bit generic? Surely the type of filter, design of trumpets etc will influence things????
Just a thought? Might be BS!!!

There are various "Stages" I see!!! More lost than ever now!! Stage 3 would seem the obvious choice???? What have others with an R1 used??

linky to Demon Tweeks

Standard R1 trumpets inside a Pipercross PX600 type sausage filter. The kit contains various sized jets doesnt it to allow the correct ones to be selected at the rolling road?? Just thought the right kit needs buying to get it close first with the needles and clips fitted etc
