HISS Question
Still looking at different bike engines - If I were to find say a Blackbird engine (injection) with the Honda security HISS missing, I'm
assuming that I could get it working with say megasquirt or similar?
How hard would it be?
Cheers
Mark

The thing with the Megasquirt is ataching a suitable trigger wheel to the engine that it can read.
Second is you will need the latest firmware and hardware to run cop (4 x coil on plug).
But having done a bit of reading its all posable.
Ive been reading up on kwak zx12r's and in the usa they didnt get the Kiss so the loom and ecu from over there will get around the security.
There are also some clever bods that have hacked the ecu and can now remap it aswell as disabling some functions.

HISS non-answer...
I do not know if a similar unit is available for the Honda, sorry, but a Yoshimura management system and loom (non OEM) came with my latest Suzuki
GSXR victim.... there's no security with it, very little wiring. Haven't run it yet, waiting for some fitting to arrive to get around the
oil cooler pipery. Certainly ran beautifully on the bike though.
