Has anyone got any pictures of a Flatshifter fitted with a cable linkage.
I went down the cabled route for my paddles as it is supposedly kinder on the box but obviuosly I have no way of adding the sensor into the system at
the moment.
Graham advised that people add a bracket to the cable to allow it to work some inspiration would be nice.
Isn't sorens2 cable ?
Here we go.....
hit me baby
Thanks for the video.
I have not got the room to fit the sensor in between the cable and the gear lever.
Thats why I need to mount it along side it apparently.
I have a cable shift and a flatshifter but have not fitted mine yet. With cable shift the sensor has to be fitted at the gearbox end so the likely
setup would be lever, rose joint, sensor, cable, with the cable held in a bracket above the gearbox lever.
In my case, with the gearbox lever close to the bulkhead I was planning to fit an L shaped bracket to the bulkhead with a hole for the cable end to
pass through held each side of the bracket by nuts and washers.
Hi, I have fitted a flatshifter with a cable system and had to modify the existing setup slightly, so opted for a pivot point in the system to be able
to fit the cable at 90 degrees to the Flatshifter sensor...
Hard to explain, so see our blog for details... sorry, in Hungarian... but you get it from the pics...

Thanks guys, having looked at the car now I am going to refabricate the bracket in the engine bay so I can fit the strain gauge/sensor onto the end of
the cable.
It seems pointless trying to reinvent the wheel
Flatshifter onboard footage wanted of your clutchless or electric gearshift systems in use for new flatshifter page on utube etc very much appreciated
please mail links etc to mail@flatshifter.com
thanks guys

Hi Graham,
I will send you some when I have finished putting it all together.
Work has been manic again so not had a chance to finish installing it yet or even drive the car
