Hi does anyone use the holeshot billet sump for hayabusa engine? I'm trying to find out what the oil capacity of an engine running this sump, I've tried contacting holeshot but try were bloody useless to tell you the truth, the answer I got was 'a bit more than a standard sump' you would have thought they'd know how much more?!

I've got one. I didn't check how much extra it is, i just filled it to the line on the sight glass.

Is it ok doing that with how the engine is sat?

Apparently so. I was told the angle the eninge is fitted in a car is not much different to the angle in the bike.

I have one

the angle of the engine is the same as in the bike on mine, so the sump is level at the bottom

things to bear in mind when buying one

1. you need the sump of course
2. sump gasket
3. swinging pickup
4. a sump plug - holeshot seem to make these different everyweek - mine was a m10x1
5. Baffle Plate
6. hose connectors for connecting back to engine

literally nothing is included in the price, make sure you get everything for it.

on another note the reason i went for this, is Danny from MK ran one in a race car for 2 seasons with no issues, swapped to a dry sump this season and has blown 2 engines already. others swear you must dry sump a busa
