Heads up on a 2.3d sierra
hobzy - 25/2/09 at 04:53 PM

Looking for diffs and saw this:

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php/carno/51169

Am I right in thinking this will have a 3.14 diff in it ? If so here is a heads up for you lot - too far away form me to justify getting it and stripping it... But if someone wants to I'll have the diff off of you for a reasonable wedge (minus finders fee )

3.38 diff i believe

thats what i pulled out of the 2.3d in the scrappies a few months back

Ah well still a good find I suppose. Offer still stands Cheers YQUSTA.

Isnt the 3.14 diff from the diesel auto and 3.38 from the manual (or something like that)??

redscamp - 25/2/09 at 05:27 PM

early 2.3d manual = 3.14 diff
late 2.3d manual = 3.38 diff
it should be a 3.14

£600 1983 Sierra

Even though it has a 3.38 diff, it still aint worth £600 IMO

No no no Phil, you are wrong - the £600 isn't for the car with Diff et al.

That £600 is just for the shell and doors.......................................
