Been offered one for £50 but im not sure if its an mt75 or a type 9 fitted to these cars?

Should be a Type 9, the twin cam had the mt75

Last one I broke had a type 9.

yes should be a type 9. You can check, if the reverse position is top left it's a type 9.

I belive the MT75 is bottom right.

I've had 3 sierras with CVH all of which had type 9's, as pete said the DOHC later sierra deffinatly had the MT75.

All 1.8 CVH's had type 9's, I am not sure about the handful of 1.6 CVH's that were made at the very end of production. These are the holy grail as (please check) they has the same block as the 1.6 RS Turbo
