spot the difference.
managed to round off the nut on the dirtier ones bleed valve which could make it fun at the motor factors, as its 11mm and the shinier one is 10mm...
What's the question?
As long a its not snapped they wont bother. Most of them don't even check to see it the old core is the same as the new one.
1 tip is to pay for the caliper outright, then take the old core back the next day - doesnt give them a chance to compare it against the old one.
I wouldn't worry
I've swapped much, much more dirty rust lumps of crap before now (I never bother cleaning them) with no questions asked
The majority of bleed nipples have an 11mm hex but there's also plenty of 10mm hex around. The thread for both will be M10x1. They're
interchangeable and not unusual to find a mixture on older tin-tops. Usually comes about where a bleeder has been replaced for one reason or
another.

apply heat and use a good set of grips. Had the same problem on some westfield callipers
