Sierra Propshaft

Hi all,
Im stripping my 1990 sierra donor car. I have removed the rear propshaft and every manual / article tells me that the front propshaft should pull out from the gearbox. Its got the rubber front coupling and will not pull out of the gearbox. Can anyone advise please??

Is it a type 9 box?? As it's a later model it maybe a mt75 box which I think dosent just pull apart but I could be barking up the wrong tree completey

From memory the shaft is fixed to the gearbox with 3 M10 bolts. HTH Ray

when I finish with the donor I'll be ditching the engine and keeping the box and prop, would I be better of splitting the engine and box in situ in th car or is this more hassle?
