How much is a 1.8 sierra donor car worth
SeanStone - 24/1/11 at 02:23 PM

What would you price it as, sold as a donor. I can get hold of the whole car but I am going back to uni so don't have time to dismantle

Confused but excited. - 24/1/11 at 03:00 PM

If you don't have a use for it, why even bother getting it?

SeanStone - 24/1/11 at 03:02 PM

It's cheap so if I can sell it for more than I buy it for then it'll make me a little more comfortable financially at uni. I can sell it for parts more than I buy it for but I won't have the space nor time

blakep82 - 24/1/11 at 03:26 PM

lol how much more are you planning to sell it for, to be more comfortably at uni?

SeanStone - 24/1/11 at 03:56 PM

Every little helps when you're -600

Macbeast - 24/1/11 at 05:23 PM

Of course, if you buy it and then you can't sell it on, you'll be even worse off

SeanStone - 24/1/11 at 05:26 PM

Nothing ventured nothing gained!

As scrap steel around about £150 so anything cheaper than that and your quids in. Or break it up and sell the parts for say £300+ and scrap the shell/leftovers for £100

Confused but excited. - 24/1/11 at 06:31 PM

£100 scrap for a shell?
Jeez, here they only give you £25 for a complete car that you have to drive there yourself.
They will collect for free if a non runner though.

Might be after the running gear if the price is right?
