Cheers Jon,

The guy was lying to me anyway. It was a MKII Cortina 1600. That of course was a crossflow. The scrappie is selling it complete- apart from one wing it's in fantastic nick- seems real shame to break it!
Even has manual and other documentation in glove box!

Cheers anyway!

James

How much ?

ChrisW - 6/9/02 at 06:40 PM

Might be worth a few quid then James. One of the guys on the farm is trying to sell a 1600e mkII cortina. He want's £1k for it although it is mint save a polish or two.

Go to Beaulieu for some silly prices. Remember Choper bikes? Dearest one was £1200, and the cheepest rust bucket was about £275.

Please note these are not mis-prints.

Blimey!

And to think we used to have one of those! I wonder what happened to it? Will have to start interrogating a few family members!
