Just got my sierra master cylinder off eBay but there is no thread inside to attach some stud bar for the brake pedal ? How do u attach the brake pedal to them ?

Did it not come with a push rod attached? Sounds a bit suspicious. Has it got any internal parts inside it???

It might be the plunger is just pushed in. Remove the rubber and check.

If you meean inside the piston, there is no thread, just an empty hole with a rounded bottom

The rod end just rests in there. The held end is with a clevis onto your brake pedal

Ditto, made my own push rod from HT M8 bolt, rounded off end in bench grinder..

Is the m8 bolt ok to rattle around in the tube ?

I also made mine from an M8 HT bolt and a clevis that mounts to
the break pedal. It wont rattle around if you adjust all of
the free play out.
