anyone know off the top of their head what vehicle the expansion tank is from on the cat e1? it came with the kit just need to replace the cap

If its a Tiger supplied one, then its a pattern part from a VW Golf and has a blue pressure cap. Beware, they are prone to splitting and so may be worthwhile sourcing an alternative such as fitted to a Rover 25 for example.

thanks well its got a yellow cap on it at the mo but it has never looked to have fit right and is now leaking lol

I had a VW in mine but changed to a Rover 25. Get the Rover 25 bracket if you can.

mate of mine had the vw one and yes it split causing hot water to spew onto his feet
