Theres a "donor" Sierra dumped near my house, the whole front end is shafted so theres not much of any use on it.
After a bit of a closer look it has leather seats
I want some leather to make my seat from and was wondering how the Sierra seats are attached to the body ?
I'll be working in the dark so I'd like a bit of an idea before I get there if you know what I mean
the fronts have 4 10mm bolts each, slide the seat back n forwards to get them, the rears have 2 on the base if it is a fold down plus the hinges,if they dont fold a few self tappers usualy hold them down.
Cheers Conrod
Its a Saphire so I'd guess they don't fold Do you need to get access to the boot to undo the self-tappers ?
unclefista.. why dont yer just take a stanley knife with yer..cut off all the leather....it will be easier than carrying seats away down the street.....and will help out if some bigger boys come
now why didnt i think of that?

a lot of cars in scrappies have leather interiors. I dont expect they sell those much , so you could go the legit route and see if you can cut one out
cheap !
ANother idea is to find a dumped 3 seater sofa. These have a large flat leather area at the back that would be free from all the piping shaping and
contouring you will find on a road car seats.
there are places on line that sell whole hides of about 45 sq feet at 100 quid if you are feeling monied!
