Right then,
I am booked off work tomorrow (hence why I am still up geeking at one in the morning) and plan to finally get the front hubs off. Both of the bolts
had well and truly siezed and sheared off when I turned them.
So, I plan to use spring clamps to retain the springs, then drill a small hole in the suspension dampers to drain off any fluid.
Once that is done I can chop the damper in half using an angle grinder and take the hub into work and use a pillar drill, do make a decent job of
drilling out the 'sheared off bolt'. - Unless that is... that someone else knows a better way...
sheared off bolts? drill it and use an "easy out" if its really stubborn, heat it up then douce with water it should pop free easily at that point.
awsome!, done it but of brute force and both suspesion units come out. now i'll take em to work and get the hubs off
