hello all new to the locost scene my dad got me the book for crimbal as a joke but now i am thinking this will teach him lol i will make one however finding a decent donor car seems a bit hard i know i am looking for rear wheeled drive around the 2litre mark i am a bmw man but its all trailing arms so i havent any idea if i can use bm axels i cannot use bmw front hubs so again i am stuffed dohhh help me somone.........
You'll get over the bmw thing - to heavy for a kebab
Get a Sierra, then go see Luego/MK/MNR/GTS or any of the others and build yourself one of their kits.
If you fancy doing all the hard work and taking 3 years instead of 3 weeks look for tips on IRS/de Dion/live axle, alternative engine box combo
amongst other things.

I went through a 'why not BMW bits' phase during research phase and have ended up with a motley collection of (very cheap) Ford bits for my
build.
There are people out there doing these things but i felt that for a first build doing it a simple and straight forward way was probably a better idea,
the next one will
be more exotic. . . . .
