it is taxed and tested 4-7 months so i could run it if i was desperate

Wrong engine and gearbox if you ask me. But it will have disk brakes fitted to the rear.

The diff I had out of a GLS was 7.5"" which was a pain to get in.

I have a K reg ghia that i bought with a 34k engine(dohc), paid £300.
I also bought the wife a J reg GLS with T&T and no rust, only 32k miles. Got it at my local car auctions for £190. Bloody bargain cos no one wants em anymore.
