Hi Has anyone ever successfully converted a cable clutch to hydrolic, using an internal slave/thrust bearing from a Ford (Mondeo) ? If so, what master cylinder did you use?

Not quite what you asked but I helped a friend fit a bike engine with a hydraulic clutch and we used a girling cylinder, something like a 5/8" bore. I think it was from an old Triumph, possibly Dolomite, may be worth a look. The shop was glad to find a customer for it and only charged about £20. You might have to look at shortening the throw on the actuating arm as the movement involved is not great.

That makes it simpler then as long as the cylinder shifts enough fluid and you can get compatible connectors. The one we used took brake pipe and fittings.

clutch pipe is normally bigger dia than brake pipe as there is a lot more fluid to move per aplication
