I got the ajustable one.. goes in out up n down ... and instead of the nylon bush.. got a spherical bush from local bearing shop...

I have the adjustable one too - but I stripped everything away so it's bare bones with nothing unnecessary attached.

Does anyone know whether you can swap a standard one for an adjustable one? I am still looking for a means of bring the wheel close to my chest, and the dished wheel/spacer routes have not so far been successful.

Any info, pics etc. gratefully received.

Thanks

They should be a fairly simple swap - I'll post a picture later tonight to show how the adjustable one fits (though, like I said before, I've stripped all the gubbins away)

I have recently swaped a 1983 Sierra column for a 1990's adjustable and it was a straight swap, just needed to cut the dash a bit to get the full uppy downy movement. In/out just slides up the nylon bush. Added bonus is that the cowl covers all the sharp bits.
