Scrapyard fun
Pezza - 23/1/07 at 06:29 PM

As I was at the scrappy today getting an ash tray for my Kangoo van I thought I may aswell get a sierra handbrake for my indy.

Was fun trying to get the bugger out lol
Sierra estate ontop of some other scraper so couldn't get at it from underneath.

Ended up having to rip both drums apart, pull the cable though, then spend ages ripping the transmission tunnel hole wide enough to get the half moon bit out via the medium of parrot pliers lol

Thankfuly that should be the last part I need from a sierra.

Tried reading the diff code to see if it was tasty ratio but unfortunaly couldn't glean the numbers off it.

At first glance yes it would, the only sharp edges are not (by the looks of it) contactable, being under the main lever. The rest is nice and smooth.
