Hi does any one know how to set of a rover air bag that is out of the car ?
want to show some kids how explosive thay are cheers Rick

i design & test them, be very careful! I'm sure your more than aware, but they can be very lethal.

As opposed to partly lethal??

Check out youtube for airbag explosions. Including one idiot sitting on one when it goes off. Natural selection at its finest.

As stated in previous post(s), air-bags are deemed to be a class 1 explosive device (Just hope the terrorist don't get wind of this), and as such are supposed to be transported/delivered by secure means (armoured vehicle delivery when not fitted in/to a vehicle.).

I think it requires something like 12 - 20 volt capacitor discharge to fire the explosive charge, stand a good 20m away, and watch quickly, for complete inflation occurs in about 18 micro seconds.
