£35 sounds about right (I think I paid a little less with trade discount but not much)

Just check if Halfords have got any offers on at the moment, got mine for £9.99 each side.

BSL should have a local branch or try Berkshire Engineering Supplies on 0118 988 8885. Bought some m/bike wheel bearings from BSL 'cause I was in a hurry @ £8.50 each + VAT. Berks. Eng. phoned back £2.80 each but 3 days delivery!!!!
Also try Googling wheel bearings if you know the ref. no. but watch out for min. order value.
Cheers, Pewe

bargain! mine for mr2 were £94 each side!

Sorry, I'm just getting bitter

The reason the price shocked me is last year i got new rear wheel bearings for my Land Rover Discovery and they were £4.75 + vat each!!! I also have a 4x4 Mondeo with a noisy rear bearing. Dont think i will price that just now!!!

cheers

just be glad you don't have rear disc brakes, bearings are closer to £35 each then

TGR-ECOSSE - 27/3/07 at 09:19 PM

They are disc brake ones and i have 4 hubs to do. Not so locost

I have posted a list of all the tapered roller bearing part numbers on here before so if you search you should find that. Then look in yellow pages for bearing distributors and give them a ring. Alternatively, if there is one close to you try BRT bearings as they are a bearing distributor who specialise in car applications.

It`s all nonsense guys .........go to bearing supplier........loads of em. Nissan wanted 98 quid plus vat for inner and outer Koyo wheel bearing. £18 plus vat from Industria.....same Koyo boxed bearing.
