hello,

i know this subject been done/spoken about abit in the past but...I have a 200sx s13 that i drift, its a ca18det with 300bhp, 2way kazz diff, 300mm skyline brakes.
I have also been offered my old formula 27 back to me, its about 12 years old, has a crossflow 711m, cortina brakes, gaz inboard shocks.

I looking to combine the two and use it for drifting/fast road/track.

i can get the engine fitting in the f27 easily but my main questions are;

1-what will it take/how easy would it be to add the skyline brakes/200sx hubs to the car?

2-is the old f27 chassis upto the job of handleing such powerful brakes/engine?

3-any other points you think might help? the suspension is on the car, the engine is there, the brakes will be more than upto the job.....

The power shouldn't be a problem for the chassis but the brakes might be too much for such a light car. You will not get enough heat into them and would be better selling the Skyline stuff and replacing it with Wilwood or Hispec calipers with unvented discs.

I miss my old S13 too

thanks for the answer, would even standard pads be too much to warm up? what about standard s13 brakes? i've got a set of those too and they would be easier to fit as I can run 15"s then
