Hi all,
Just got my super lightweight pedalbox through from them after a two week wait for something that i was told was on the shelf.
Looks good apart from there is no clevis to attach the clutch MC to??? And i cant see a way for attaching the throttle cable??? no hole or anything...
Any ideas or experiences??

Also, should the bias bar be able to move within the brake pedal?? side to side if i a move it with my fingers??? i thought it would have been a tight fit....

Am awaiting there response at mo.
Cheers
joe

just heard back, clevis is on its way and got a help sheet on the throttle, thats all rpoblems solved.
Just wondering if the bias bar shoudl be able to slide in and out easily.....
thanks again

PS tegwin, obp have been more than helpful

the bias bar has to be able to move inside the pedal, maybe not slide totaly free inside, but it'll ot be a problem unless there's a big gap between bush and pedal tube

hi goaty
no problems with the one form compbrake and i got it quicker even though they had to wait for the sand paper for the pedals

can you email me the help sheet on the throttle

thanks graham

i had the same problem, advertising parts in stock that weren't

took me 2 weeks to get the clevis and another 2 weeks to get the brake fluid pots.

but i did eventually and they communicated ok

I think a few of us would like that page - i got mine from a different manufacturer who just said drill it - which will put a bending on the throttle cable and snap it. So ideas would be welcome.

heard back again from OBP and they said its fine too so i am very happy really, just the two weeks was annoying.
anyone know how i can post the pdf file obp sent me??
then all can see.
cheers again
joe

Press the reply button and down near the bottom is an attachment button, go for that and then browse to the pdf on your computer, if its in an email you may have to right click on the file and save it somewhere first then browse to it, that should do it I reckon.

tried to upload the pdf but wouldn't work. pm me emails if anyone needs it.

Got all the bits for the pedal box now but has anyone else had one of the Super lightweight models before???

I ask as i went to trail fit it and the master cylinder for the clutch has the rod about 25mm too long even if fully adjusted.....ANyone had this issue??

OBP answer is to space the MC from the pedal box....not something i want to do nor really have space to do so, plus why do i have to modify something which cost alot of money......
Anyone able to give some advice, i am awaiting obp's response on ways or reasons.

cheers
joe

had the same "problem", well actually it's not a problem, i'd rather have the rod 25mm too long than 25mm too short

goaty - 30/10/09 at 04:49 PM

25mm too long is no good though as i mean 25mm to long even when using all the avliable thread.
Problem solved now as a friend just made me a new rod but shorter
wouldn't recomend anyone buy one though, this is the super light 347quid one, for that money you shouldn't have to make things so they work.
stick with the standard one and modding it wont fell soo bad.
cheers
