pinto engine set up consisting of

205 block (never been over bored)
kent vernier pully
fast road/rally piper cam (PHY3)
standard internals
baffeld flat bottem sump
lightend fly wheel (4.98 KG)
bike throttle bodies (44mm butterflys)
copy of map its currently running on ( no ecu included)
injection loom marked up ready for refit to micro squirt
all sensors to suit micro included (TPS, crank position, air temp, coolant temp)
ford coil pack and leads
new piper cross air filter
alternator
starter motor
engine mounts to sute mk indy
bell housing dusk cover
bell housing

this engine as served my dads mk well for the past 10 years, reason for sale is duratec upgrade.
the engine was dynoed at 132BHP 2 years ago, recent video of engine running is avalibel, very reliable engine but it is now burning oil, suspect valve stem seals (new seals included)

Not wanting to pee of your parade but I think your price might need adjusting slightly (no, I'm not interested but want you to get a sale) - check your price against say, a brand new 2l zetec 134 bhp for £950 and your 25+ year old burning oil engine doesn't seem such good value.

Saying that, there are some expensive Pintos on ebay so you may be lucky

i dont know what simon is going on about.

£950 for the zetec, fair enough, now add sump, induction, clutch, flywheel, management, alternator fitting kit etc etc and the pinto looks pretty good to me, quick tickle with the stem seals and you've got a torquey characterful engine.

Price seems reasonable to me - its a drop-in package unlike a crate Zetec and just like crossflow's the demand is creeping up for Pinto's as they get fewer.
