im considering a weld in but id ideally like the front upright and side bar to run outside of the side panel.

I would think that you would need to weld in mounting plates to bolt or weld a cage in. This may be some of the cost and for you to strip part of the car for access.

I have a cage from an INDY R here and not too far away from ya if any interest to you. Cheers D
